Dark Theo

Dark Theo at your service, carefully roasted Brazilian coffee beans rolled in dark chocolate & dusted in fine cocoa powder, boasting 70% cocoa solids. The pleasant bitterness of the dark chocolate melds seamlessly with the nutty chocolate notes of the Brazilian coffee beans, while the velvety texture of the chocolate contrasts beautifully with the crunch of the roasted beans.

FUN FACT: Our Dark Theo is named after Theobroma, a city in Brazil where the coffee beans are sourced from, but it is also the scientific name for Cacao Tree, derived from the Greek words, Theos meaning god & Broma, meaning food. Theo, food of the gods & we couldn’t agree more.

Good for munching by the handful, good for savouring all the texture contrasts, no wonder everyone is hooked on these crunchy, nutty & rich morsels of pure happiness.

Far East Praline

The naming is a quirky play on “Far Out” to denote the unexpected combination of flavours, Max’s Far East praline is by far the most unique praline to grace the centrepiece of our Chocolate Shop. The milk chocolate praline square is filled with white chocolate & hazelnut praline folded with ground coriander seeds, a spice often used in Indian, Asian & Middle Eastern dishes. The natural lemon-orange citrus flavour of the crushed coriander seeds permeates gently, cutting through the richness of the white chocolate praline centre, while the milk chocolate shell brings out the nutty warmth of the spice to your taste buds. Far East? Far out, it’s a winner.
